Absolutely awful. Terrible food, terrible service. First off the phone went unanswered for about 10 minutes. Then, had a massive problem just getting my address across to the employee. It was just general laziness and unwillingness to listen that already had me pissed off. Then we had to wait an hour for a delivery that was supposed to take 40 minutes and still the driver was at the WRONG adress. I must have clearly repeated the address at lest 15 times, so that fact that it was late and the wrong address was completely unacceptable. And the food was absolutely mediocre. Please take delicious off your description. My chipss were ice cold and undercooked. The chicken was burnt to a crisp and DRENCHED in salt and the wedges had spice on maybe 2 of them and none on the rest. For a long time i really liked nandos and was always happy with the quality of their food, but over the last couple of months, there has been a horrid decline in.both Capetown and Jo'burg alike. I was in the door and spoke to the below manager and I was refused being allowed to order. The manager said circumstances permit that he closed as they had orders. I tried to explain that the sign said 7.30pm and why was I allowed in. I own a business and understand the stress one has to ensure expenses get paid. There are also many people unemployed desperate for work. Obviously the store owner wasn't present because only someone with no interest in promoting the business or the nandos brand would treat myself and another single man both already in the store that way. The management skills and the failure to respect the signage on display and two clients wanting to order meal was of no concern. Read moreI appreciate the sorry when I called and I am grateful that the order was eventually corrected. However, I’d like to point out that no one wants to eat cold or reheated food. While one person was waiting for the coleslaw, the chicken became cold, and while another was waiting for the chicken, the wedges were cold. The whole experience was a mess. Given that I placed my order at 1pm for a 5pm delivery, the timing should have been better managed. Honestly, how much more time could Nando's have needed?
