Absolutely terrible quality of food. My order was delivered ice cold, the Carnival Cheese burgers that I ordered did not have a drop of cheese sauce on it, my wedges were ice cold and soggy, the sauces that I ordered and paid for were not included in my order, I specifically asked for them to please include utensils and my request was completely ignored. It was as if I received someone's canceled order. I was so hungry I ate half of the burger and a few wedges and couldn't finish due to the terrible quality. I filed a complaint on the app and phoned Nando's Woodhill Boulevard to speak to a manager, to my surprise it was the manager speaking. I informed him that I had filed a complaint and explained to him what the situation was and all he did was give me some half-ars#d insincere apology and informed me it would not happen again. After which I completely lost it, I mean am I supposed to just accept this kind of service? After my obviously livid response, and threat to report them to Hello Peter, any other site I could find online AND Nando's head office, the manager informed me that he would send a driver to collect the half eaten meals and deliver proper quality meals which I appreciate. But why does a loyal Nando's customer need to throw such a fit just to receive a decent service and decent food? Oh and by the way, I received my "proper order" in the exact same condition as the first order was except for the fact that the wedges were actually warm this time. Not a thing was other than that was rectified, no sauce on my burger and my sauces were once again excluded from my take away. Read moreI was appauld about the Nandos order I placed last night. I placed an online order for my food at17:30 and the website estimated the food would come at 18:25. Made a phone call at 19:00 and had to wait 5 minutes until someone answered my call. A lady from the customer service answered and put me on hold to speak to the manger. When she called me again she and both the manger apologised saying the food was on it's way and would come any minute now. As well that the food was delayed due to the poor weather. I waited yet another for the food. The food arrived cold and the butter was melting at 20:00! Not only was the food 2hrs 30 minutes late, they also switched off the tracker because the food was not coming "any minute now". After paying R25 for delivery, I did not receive the drinks which was supposed to come with the meal. Your employee advised that he would return shortly with the drinks...guess what.. almost 3 hours later...no drinks. About the quality of your food. I'm shocked Nandos let's you serve the food you do. It was the worst I have ever experienced from any Nandos. I requested extra sauce on my chicken, but alas, this was me being wishful as the chicken did not even much seasoning to begin with. As far as I am concerned that chicken could be from anywhere. I recieved peri chip not chips, since only 2 or 3 chips had seasoning on it.
