Panarottis Alberton — Restaurant in Gauteng

I ordered 2 pizzas as a takeaway and was made to wait for almost 1 hour... Mr D guys, kept collecting and being attended to, maybe about 5 of them got their orders after me. The waitress, I think her name is Nandi, she made me pay for my order and then went to the kitchen. Instead of coming back with my order, she exited the restaurant and came back with an ice cream from next door outlet. While still trying to process what I was seeing, she just passed the restaurant straight to the exit of the mall... Haibo, I was appalled by this. I had a 1 month old with me, I was told the restaurant was busy but being made to wait 1 hour was ridiculous. The couple that had ordered after me received their pizza before me and raised this with their waitress that I had ordered before them. I told the waitress that the one who was serving me exited the restaurant just after I paid. She then quickly fixed and got me my order but I lost my appetite. I didn't even enjoy the pizza when I got home because why would you take my order if you didn't feel...

I am disgusted by Panarottis Alberton food standard. We used to have great experiences however the past 2 visits have been shameful. The first was large pieces of egg shell which we found in my babies pizza, he's 2 years old and had consumed some by the time we noticed it within the scrambled egg. He's had diarrhea for the past 2 weeks. The second incident was plastic baked in the dough which again was to late as it was found only after being eaten. I told the manager about the 2 incidents he apologized. I said if it was my child he could of choked to death. I also told him I am not paying for that pizza in particular. Anyway the bill still reflected the pizza and we paid and left. I'm appalled by the level of service. Will never return to that Panarottis. We frankly don't feel safe and I don't enjoy having to search our food for health hazards before eating. I will be taking this up further to avoid anyone else suffering any health problems...

The service was very disappointing! On a Thursday night special my husband was served a beer and then we waited for 30 minutes without one slice of pizza passing our table! Let me mention we are regular customars and we sat at our regular table! Had complained previously about the same thing. Must mention my whole family we to Panarottis at the Glen on a Sunday afternoon. And the staff forgot to bring our food. So my grandchildren that was hungry waited more than 45 minutes for food. Our food was brought after I complained to the manager. We were invited back with the promise of free food. We did go back but paid for our food. Needless to say myself and my family will not be dining at Panarottis again. It is useless to offer me vouchers when the staff can't serve me!! Maybe the staff are overworked due to long hours?
