Roman's Pizza Meadowdale — Restaurant in Gauteng

Went there on the 8th March 2025 to order a meal and was met with the most interested and effortless manager.

My order was placed and I was told it was gone through. As I tried to pay for it, the card machine being used is having issues with signal so I'm told.

I try 3 times to pay for my order as the manager stands by seeing the lady assisting struggle and instead of coming over to assist he has a don't care attitude.

He then says to me oh I don't think it's going through, we must make a plan.

Am I now to inconvenience myself to leave, go draw out money and come pay? Is that what you expect from me as the customer?

Instead of him coming over to see what was the issue with the machine, maybe trying to reboot or just show that he is making an initiative to assist he once again repeats himself saying it's not working, we must make a plan.

Honestly this will be reported to Romans Head Office, is this the type of managers you have representing your franchise? Managers who are incompetent as their job and stand with folded arms whilst their fellow colleagues struggle? Does Romans pizza entertain managers who stand by with no interest for their customers or to even make an attempt to help?

Come on, do better...

If you as a manager have no interest in you duties then resign and let someone competent replace you.

The cashier was sweet but the manager just leaves a bad taste.

I called to order while in the parking lot and the phone rang for 15 min straight they ignored it as it wasn't busy. To a point I walked in store the moment she picked up and I told her that she can drop the call I'm finally in the store. She still even got my order wrong and tried giving a story mxm

Today 04/06/2025 I ordered a pizza only for my Pizza to look like it was pulled from a garbage bin, i called the store to complain, i spoke to Hudson who said he is the manager and made me explain three times what the problem was, I honestly thought after my last complaint things would change but clearly not.
