Steers — Restaurant in Gauteng

Ordering for delivery from here is a bad idea - 3 times we have given it a chance and it has taken over an hour and food arrived cold - soggy lettuce, horrible. Driver also clueless. A no no.

It is with disappointment we recently discovered that it is no longer possible to order any Steers burger with the vegetarian patty and that only the veggie burger is available for vegetarians. The option has also been removed from the UberEats menu. Having enjoyed the Prince burger and the Rave burger with the vegetarian patty for many, many years now, it is not nice to no longer be able to...

I ordered a Vegetarian Wacky Wednesday and made sure to explicitly state that I don’t eat meat and want no onion, I confirmed the order and waited 15mins. I was then given my order and I headed home to Fourways. When I got home and opened my order, I had been given 2 beef burgers. I called the store to ask for their assistance since it was their mistake, however I was told I would have to use my petrol to head back to the store to get any assistance. The service I received was awful and I didn’t trust them to remake the vegetarian burger.

Called Steers at 10.30am to order a large chips as I was pressed for time... Arrived at 10.50 to collect... Only for the woman working behind the counter to tell me she didn't put the order through because I didn't leave my number. I just decided to walk out as I said I was pressed for time. I've placed a phone order on numerous occasions at this specific location, with no problems whatsoever. Now all of a sudden me not leaving my phone number constitutes my order not being put through.

Absolute rubbish...
