I received a poor service from the manager today,had no electricity due to load shedding so my phone battery died when the uber dropped me off to buy my FAVORITE STEERS.. I politely asked the cashier to help me charge my phone a bit so I'll be able to get uber avoiding to walk home with my daughter in the dark as it was late today around 8pm. The cashier called the manager who refused helping me charge my phone which i understood might be work policies, that's when i asked her to refund my money so I'll go to a place where I'll get help as i had my charger with me,the cashier had asked the ladies who prepare food at the back to wait a bit before continuing with the order but the manager refused with the REFUND,arrogantly told me she can't they have started the order they won't refund me.I didn't expect that from a fellow woman like me it wasn't about the money but for my safety to return home. On Friday 2019-02-01 I decided to download the Steers app and decided to order online. The order was places before 17:00 and when I got to Steers at Edenglen just after 17:00 they told me to pay as the order was almost ready. The order amounted to R528.20. We went to the Mall to get some things and when we got back to Steers at 17:15 the lady said they are packing the order. We waited and saw people come and go and at 17:30 we enquired and they said it's almost ready. At 17:45 I asked for a refund as the order was bot done. The shop clearly does not prioritise online orders and it's a waste of time if you order online. You can order and deliver and the delivery guys will push the staff because they need the commission but if you order and collect you will be very dissapointed. Had a previous experience with soggy and uncooked chips along with over powering sauced burgers but decided to give steers another chance and I must say I was happy with my recent order.

Got the 4 burger sharing meal, two chicken and two beef. I prefer the chicken burger over the beef because of the succulent chicken breast which is flavourful. I also prefer to only have BBQ sauce and not the mustard as I feel they overpower the taste of the chicken fillet. The chips - as everyone raves about them - where also great. The spice really elevates them to another dimension.
