I placed the order via uber eats and the food arrived with all the curry flopped and spilled all over the delivery guy’s cart. The delivery guy left, saying they would report to uber and send me fresh order. I waited and never received the fresh order. Uber eats say they won’t refund me despite the delivery guy’s messed up my order and left with the order. This is the second time the curry spilled in side the delivery cart so the packaging need to be improved. I will never order using uber eats again as they refuse to refund me for an order I didn’t receive, it’s R200 down the drain. Excellent food (and very generous portions) served by the gracious and welcoming manager Khan. This location is specialised in take-away so there is a constant stream of walk-in customers and Uber Eats drivers collecting orders, but does have a handful of tables in a pleasant atmosphere. Still, if a full-on relaxed restaurant atmosphere is what you are after, then better to go to their location in Sunninghill (where we normally go). Coming from Delhi ( Hub for North Indian cuisine ) I thought I'd never be able to find authentic food in Johannesburg and to my surprise, this restaurant not only meets my expectations of flavors but also has a great service- Ali bhai does a phenomenal job . We ordered - Achari chicken tikka , Dal tadka and Paneer Lababdar - it was getting difficult to pick a winner because all 3 dishes were phenomenal.

It's a small restaurant but perfect to satisfy your cravings . Highly recommend .
