I only have good things to say about this Cafe. Firstly, as I walked in, I was greeted by the owner (I think), who advised me of the heat on the balcony but ultimately let me choose if I wanted to sit there. He took my drinks order immediately (I knew what I wanted when I walked in), left and came back to wipe down my table (even tho it wasn't noticeable that is was dirty). My waiter, Freedom, looked after me and could tell I didn't want to be bothered unnecessarily. My cappuccino was delivered on time and so was my food. I did not feel rushed to finish my meal, nor did I feel like I was being hovered over while reading my novel and enjoying my brunch. On my way out, I stopped to chat with the manager to give my complements, because I felt with all the bad reviews on Google, this team needed to be reassured that they are actually doing a great job.
So to the team, thank you, the food was well worth it, the atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for, no interruptions, lovely music playing in the background, tables are well spaced and I didn't feel crowded. Keep up the good work, the right people will appreciate it.
Btw, to Freedom who wants to see me again tomorrow, it might not be tomorrow but I will...
Read moreThis is a fantastic cafe and bakery. Went for a birthday breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was excellent, flavourful and great portion sizes. Prices were also pretty good. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the ambiance was lovely.
I had the Mushroom, Haloumi & Hummus on sourdough. It was well prepared and seasoned and tasted great. There was an issue with my nephew's kiddies waffle but the staff were very accommodating in making him a new waffle. The other three family members all enjoyed their meals. Between them they enjoyed a three egg omelette, the all day breakfast and the breakfast waffle with absolutely no complaints.
I highly recommend this Vovo Telo and will definitely be going...

Assumed a great experience was in order but was a recipient of the opposite. Toasted (sad attempt at it) sourdough drenched in butter on the inner, dry slaw salad, dry chicken schnitzel with powdered crumb exterior. Sides are optional, so no chips, etc.
Chicken and Mushroom pizza was on an undercooked base. The sad attempt at a crispy base actually resembled what looked like overprooved sourdough that did not bake through but instead remained gummy and doughy.
Definitely not visiting again, even for the breads which I...
