Wimpy Trade Route Mall Halaal — Restaurant in Gauteng

I googled and seen this wimpy closes at 9pm. I took a drive and reached at 8pm. Firstly I waited very long for a waitress to take the order...maybe 10 to 15 min. I asked for a waffle but the waitress said she can give it with fresh cream because the ice cream machine is been washed already. My wife asked for a bar-one gourmet shake and same reply. I don't understand, if they say they close at 9pm, why 30min to an hour before they start closing up the kitchen. They should rather say they close at 8pm then at least customers don't get conned with the time and can go elsewhere without wasting so much of time. We thereafter left without ordering anything and went somewhere else. I think management should seriously look into this. VERY...

After a very long time of eating at Wimpy Traderoute we were extremely disappointed in the quality and taste of the food. Aside from the fact that the kids food came after all adult meals were served the food just didnt taste like Wimpy food at all and the "kids play area" is generally such a great experience for kids however clearly not at this branch .. the waitress was friendly however aside from that i dont believe any of the 13 of us enjoyed our food and funny enough we were the only ones at the restaurant which was literally a concern on 1st impression ... it didnt seem like there was any management on duty either or if there were they clearly didnt care that all our food was sent out in that poor...

If you ever want to be put off from Wimpy for good, please go Wimpy Trade Route Mall. Jeeez. Seats and tables smell unhygenice and so do the cups smell like milkshake but I ordered a soda. Beef burger has a weird taste and wasn't very appetizing. Customer service very dull like they really don't want to be working there. I should of seen the red flag before entering, it's pay day weekend and the place is practically empty. Wonder why 🤔!!!
