Today I had a terrible experience with Wimpy 11 September 2022 We ordered food from Wimpy Kolonnade this morning through Mr D App as I’ve just come out of an operation and my family and I decided we can do our out breakfast/meal at home. We placed the order, the food arrived at 11:38, on opening our bag we noticed that the order was INCOMPLETE! I phoned the Wimpy Kolonnade here I spoke to the manager in charge I gave him the details of the order. order#DFD122473753 explained that part of our order has not arrived and a soft drink from my daughters meal, he (Manager) then said to me yes!! He sees that part of the order did not go, he then said to me that he will sort this out and send it when the driver comes in, I asked him please will this be longer than an hour? ( it’s breakfast/brunch with my family) they all have their food... No he said it will be there shortly I asked if he could take my number And please let me know ... he took my details ... and 2hours later 5x phone calls later from me to find out where my meal is .. No communication from them the staff that answered laughed and made jokes keeping me on the line then proceeded to ask me what manager I was not happy the phone manners communication Are very poor .Management, a manager is appointed to run the Owners store to the best of his abilities he is appointed in trust to find solutions not create problems He says to me he is very busy ( life’s is busy) the point remains weather at home or at Wimpy If something is missing from your order and it’s paid for surely you should receive it ... I never received the order not even an apology We always enjoyed a quick breakfast/brunch there this is so poor And the lack of professionalism from MANAGER AND STAFF this behavior Is completely unacceptable
Poor service delivery poor communication skills No problem solving can be conducted in a decent manner So you can’t keep your customers happy and have positive outcomes to a glim situation that’s you re aware of And have assured And Promised to deliver on You happily take ones money but provide no service and No meal and then instead of trying to solve the problem you blame your staff and delivery man Again what’s does a manager do ? Instead of throwing stones sweep you’re front door and ask what example a manager I setting as I move sure you must be aware you are your staffs example...

I was told my order was not ready, the person assisting me was dismissive. She did not even bother to follow up on when the 'apparently not ready order' would be ready. When I went to follow up she was not even bothered. Instead she made a mockery of the whole thing and said to her colleagues "Motho wa gona ge re mmoledilsha gaa arabe", [as I was trying to retrieve the receipt on my phone]. Read moreThe food (platter for sharing) was cold and not fresh at all. The onions were burnt, the fish fingers were hard, the ribs were cold, undercooked and just smeared with cold sauce. The plate was very small. The food was not appetizing at all. The waitress felt somewhat embarrassed that we said the food was not good. We've eaten the same meal from 6 other Wimpys. There's always a slight variation which we don't mind but this was horrible. I give 1 star for the delicious bubblegum milkshake. Definitely not eating...
