Went in 20 minutes before closing time to order some smoothies. I join the line at the till and wait for the people in front of me to pay for their order. As I approch the teller and start telling her my order, they conveniently have a power failure. She explains that there is nothing they can do to help me.

I watch as she briefly inspects the DB, shrugs, and then walks away from the till and continue finishing the other peoples orders.

It was then that it occurred to me... how do they have a power failure that affects only the tills but none of the food processors and other equipment?

Blenders where still being used, and toasted sandwiches where still being made. The coffee maching's display was still on.

I suspect that they turned off the tills so they don't have to keep talking orders right up to closing time.

Nice brand with a healthy concept, which is great to see in the market. Unfortunately, the smoothies consistently fall short due to a recurring issue – they’re not blended properly. Despite requesting extra blending time, the drinks often come out chunky and hard to enjoy. It’s disappointing because the idea is solid, but the execution, especially in the blending process, really lets it down. I’ve given it multiple chances, but the consistency just isn’t there. Hoping the team can improve this, as there’s a lot of potential.

The most pathetic Kauai I’ve ever been to. If you want proper service and a proper Kauai experience rathe go to the one at Virgin Active. I’ve had 2 awful experiences at the one in LifeStyle, firstly the staff couldn’t be bothered, you literally wait to be served coz they chit chat at the back. I’ve bought a princess wrap with rotten produce inside and today I wanted to give them a last benefit of the doubt and ordered a take away chimichurri and got home to a incomplete wrap, there was no steak and the cream cheese looked like it was scrapped from the base of an almost finished tub.
