Peron Peron Argentinian Grill — Restaurant in KwaDukuza Local Municipality

My recent visit to Peron Peron was unfortunately very disappointing, both in terms of food quality and service. The prawn starter had a pleasant sauce, but the prawns were difficult to enjoy as they were stuck to the shells.

We ordered the mixed grill, which was advertised to include chorizo, but instead arrived with a sausage that resembled boerewors and had an unpleasant, off taste. The pork ribs were unpalatable, and the steak was among the worst I’ve had — dry, overcooked, and completely lacking in seasoning. Much of the food appeared burnt, which affected the overall taste and presentation.

Upon expressing our concerns to the host, we were told that Argentinian food is typically not seasoned. Unfortunately, no effort was made to address our dissatisfaction or improve the experience in any way.

The service also left much to be desired. Our waiter removed the menus and walked away while we were still in the middle of ordering, which we found quite unprofessional.

The bread, rice side, and chicken sauce were the only elements that stood out in an otherwise underwhelming meal. I sincerely hope the restaurant takes this feedback constructively and works on improving both their culinary standards and...

Well it would be a strong 4.5 stars 🌟 for Peron Peron in Lifestyle Centre Ballito. To start with the food, we (couple) asked for an off menu Greek Salad and they were absolutely accommodating to serve us what we asked. We also went for something unique in the cocktail department 2 x mango daiquiris and it was sublime and great in taste. For Mains we both went for the Pork Ribs and this is where i would say Peron Peron is absolutely in a very high ranked restaurant 😀 the ribs was great, even as good as the ribs we get from our signature restaurant in Little Falls, #Turn&Tender of course. I had a Strawberry Daiquiri and my wife had a Frozen Marguerita (as it was quite humid outside) Lastly for dessert 🍨 I went for a Panqueque Con Dulce De Leche (Fresh Pancakes with filling) nice and hot and not to much and my wife went for Churros Con Dulce De Leche (Fried Pastry with Cinnamon and brown sugar) 😋 again a delite. The only low 3 star rating was the outside atmosphere, as there are a few restaurants close to each other it wasn't so nice but not Peron's mistake 😉 Thus N overall rating as said before a high 4.5...

Decided to take a drive to Ballito with the family for a visit to the beach and lunch. Decided on Peron Peron because the lunch special attracted us to it. We sat outside and were served promptly. The design, layout and vibes of the place were on top form. Sophisticated but still chill. Met the owner and chef who was very friendly. I had ordered a Long Island iced tea which was perfect, no complaints. The rest of the family had regular soft drinks. We had ordered the prawn and chicken special, 2 x steak specials, one with mushroom sauce and the other peppercorn sauce and a burger. The prawns, chicken and bread were delicious. Steak cooked to perfection how we wanted it and full of flavour. The mushroom sauce was so flavourful. The burger was also homemade patty with an egg and cheese and fresh garnish. Only suggestion with the food is to use hand cut chips and not frozen. We were too stuffed for dessert, overall it was a great experience and I recommend giving this...
