Debonairs Pizza — Restaurant in KwaZulu-Natal

I would like to thank Mohammad and the team at Debonairs in Westwood Mall for their amazing customer service and hospitality. When I visited recently, I noticed they had something new on the menu: a pizza wrap. It seemed like an interesting concept, but I wasn’t sure if it would be worth trying. Mohammad took the time to chat with me about it, explaining what makes the pizza wrap unique. His friendliness and willingness to help me make a choice really stood out.

In the end, I went with my usual pizza, but here’s the best part—when Mohammad handed me my order, he also included a pizza wrap on the house, just so I could try it! This was pretty much the most abysmal service I have ever witnessed in my lifetime.

We ordered 2 pizzas, nothing special. It took them 2 hours to deliver them, but that isn't the end. When the driver arrived, he only had 1 of them. He then sat there trying to phone the branch, which didn't pick up for a good 10 minutes. The branch then informed him our pizza was actually still there. He initially said there was only one pizza.

Needless to say the first pizza was cold. The second pizza took another hour and a half to be delivered, which was also cold. I don't think this kind of service is remotely acceptable, we were still expected to pay full price for said pizzas. Have not had any sort of compensation since.

Will never order from this...

Debonairs pizza at Westwood mall service is the worst.I always get my order after hours of ordering and response would be, “we are sorry there’s only 1 driver”. I don’t understand how a whole restaurant would operate with one driver to make all the deliveries and upon delivery my food is either dry or smudged, the workers are really incompetent.They also have their days where nobody answers the phone when calling in store.
