I recently visited Indya Circus and was blown away by their incredible Indian cuisine! The standout dishes for me were the Paneer Momos, cooked to perfection in a tandoor, and the massive Dosa that could easily be shared between two people.

The Paneer Momos were a game-changer - soft, fluffy, and bursting with flavour. The tandoor cooking added a unique smokiness that elevated the dish to a whole new level.

The Dosa was a behemoth! We ordered the Masala Dosa, and it was love at first bite. The crispy, fermented crepe wrapped around a generous filling of spiced potatoes and onions was absolute perfection.

But what truly stole the show was the Dhall Makhani and Naan combo. The lentil curry was rich, creamy, and packed with depth of flavour, while the Naan was freshly baked and utterly delicious.

Service was attentive, and the ambiance was vibrant and lively. Can't wait to come back and try more of their...

This was my 2nd visit to the restaurant and I returned because I thought that it would be better. This afternoon, for their high tea. At R550 for two, it was a bit rushed and largely vegetarian. On booking, we were asked our preference of veg or non veg. Disappointingly, non veg was a rationed offering of one little chicken pie and a quarter piece of prawn toast that the server brought in a big tray. The servers were forgetting drinks orders, chai etc. At 3:30, they came and cleared our plates and cutlery.. never returned to bring more when asked even though we had not finished our snacks. They did bring take away containers. We were also told by the owner that we were lucky to have all the items as it was first come first serve. This was again not acceptable as we had all pre booked. The highlight of the afternoon was that I got to spend it...

Nestled in a quieter side of Umhlanga, away from the bustling marine parade one can enjoy and appreciate the feel of home cooked authentic north and south Indian cuisine. Having eaten in numerous 5 star recommended Indian restaurants in Sydney, Australia we were pleasantly surprised with the wide range of starters this restaurant had to offer, some of which we had not seen on the menu before. On tasting most of them it was not easy to pick one’s favourite. The main course offered here have a great variety of north, south and fusion dishes, with the taste being perfect, just the right amount of spice , the awesome aroma and well presented. I highly recommended this restaurant,...

Really impressive restaurant setup. A lot of effort has been put into this venue to get it to where it is. I was lucky to meet the owner who is passionate about her restaurant. She needs all the support she can get to grow and succeed. Down to the food. Having just returned from India, I know these flavors well and while there’s a big effort here and it’s not quite there yet. But they are still new and will develop and improve. I will continue supporting them as eastern food is my favorite cuisine and we need a restaurant like this. Authentic Indian flavors, which is quite different to Durban style Indian food.
