The worst experience ever. Bought a hake and chips meal for R80 like I always do and i always get a tartar sauce sachet, every week I'm buying this meal. apparently with this branch if you choose a grilled option for your fish you dont get the sauce. This is absolute rxbbish. My worst experience with fishaways and it has killed my desire to ever support this franchise moving forward because the whole point of me wanting the meal is because of that. Maybe mention that before I place the order! The food is bland. The service itself is horrific, very disinterested cashier who did nothing but press her phone the entire time. We ordered fish burgers, fish cakes and a portion of fish and chips with a large coleslaw. Firstly, the buns for the burgers were no way in hell fresh. As soon as we lifted the buns, the buns just crumbled making a ball of mess! These buns were so stale it was ridiculous! Secondly, the fish cakes state 'freshly made' on the menu. According to the lady Aysha who answered the phone when we complained, they are 'defrosted then fried' ! The coleslaw was a bowl of extremely tangy mayonnaise with barely any cabbage at all!

Absolutely disappointing service and food from this establishment not to mention false advertising!!! Won't be ordering from this...

I ordered online on their website. An hour later my food hadn't arrived so I called the store. I was then informed that they didn't receive my order but it said accepted by the store. Then they called me back since they miraculously found my order. The driver calls me and says he's here but hasn't pitched yet. I have to wait another 10 mins for his arrival. The food was meh at best. Fish was rubbery. Chips sloppy. Onion rings soggy. The best thing was the lemon sauce but I had to pay extra for that.
