McDonald's Swapo Road — Restaurant in KwaZulu-Natal

There's two tables inside for dinning, one was being used and the other was dirty from dust(not left over boxes or crumbs). On placing the order for four full meals, the service delivery took 20 minutes, during that waiting period, I asked the cashier for a seviett, which I used to clean the table and bench while we wait. The other occupied table received their meal, and the lady proceeded to have her French fries exchanged for a hot portion. I was wondering how a freshly made meal, was cold. Anyway, the Macdonalds worker was happy to exchange it. Still waiting, we decided that we would not eat in, but take our meals away which were already paid for and ordered. We seemed to be order 227 for 10minutes already. In which time, several Mr delivery guys came in an collected meals. We were still waiting while my husband proceeded to tell the lady that we will now be take out. Another 5minutes, the line was growing and people were ordering, some receiving meals, and leaving. No other customers sat, outside at the (outdoor dinning table) Finally after 20minutes, we received our order, yet the order board still flashing our number as preparing. Poor service delivery at...

This Franchisee has no care in the World about meeting standards and obviously the Brand itself could not care to ensure goodwill.

1. Vegetarian burger is an abomination (patty - think mushy pea, carrot, potato? with tumeric esque colour & gooey gel to hold it all together) that they hope the yuck crumbs will hide, fries over salted and burn chic , coffee weak.
2. Place is not very clean at all.
3. The plug points do not work or at least did not work while I was there.
4. No wifi there or at least when I visited.

This one - avoid it, just go to Gateway or elsewhere.

Considering there are great other franchises in proximity one would think these guys would up their game but it seems this one is just a vehicle to lose money at 🤭

On all my walks going north towards Umhlanga, To explore and maybe one day live and work In this much nicer area one spends a lot of time Walking and climbing some of the steep roads, So after that long trek going places near and even if up to the task La Lucia mall, that has no Real fast food places, this small but confined Macs, most of the time busy, is the refreshing Station to order a large iced coke and a cheeseburger has become the regular place to relax if there’s seating most really buy and take away so amazingly I can sit down inside the Too tiny restaurant section and how lovely this Big coke and cheeseburger go down!

After all that strenuous and given of late the terrible heat and strong sunshine, you really need this to just refresh, reflect on the walk and Enjoy having a nice cold iced coke!

Service is good but should they not expand or maybe add another floor for those wanting to Sit down and eat here as all the other popular Macs all have...
