The first time we had purchased from this outlet, the Butter beans bunny was the best we had ever tasted! Perfect in everyway! This was though over 6 months ago when we were in the area. We had high hopes this time nevertheless. We purchased 2 lamb and 1 chicken bunny - Durban styled curries. This was an utter disappointment. Taste is subjective but this was not a Durban styled curry. The base of the curry was more suited to their North Indian cuisine. The bunny size was larger than your regular quarter bunny but it was filled with gravy, few lamb (and chicken pieces) and one tiny watery potato in each of the 3 bunnies. Considering that the price of a bunny chow here is higher than most places of good quality food, it left a poor taste in the mouth...pun intended! Wow I cannot believe I have never eaten here before because I have seriously been missing out my whole life The chicken tikka masala and the korma were absolutely amazing full of flavor and cooked perfectly The food was fresh warm and so filling it honestly hit the spot

The owner is such a friendly and lovely person He went out of his way to make our experience special He gave us free samosas and vermicelli which were both so delicious and thoughtful On top of that he even brought our takeout order out to the car which was such a kind gesture

I'm disappointed, I read some good reviews about this place so I decided to go along and try your Lamb bunny. It totally lacked so much something.... Let's start the sambels were okay, the quarter patato almost tasted like it was cooked seperately then added to the curry later, very little meat and way to much mushy gravy which I couldn't get to grips with in terms of taste, when I ordered I asked please I want a hot 🥵 bunny and having had a lot of bunnies this was very mild. This I'm afraid to say is a curry cooked for the white person of Durban North.
