Wimpy — Restaurant in Polokwane Local Municipality

I regret why I even went there today. On my birthday nogal. The service is very very very poor. Firstly the welcome lady at the door was just not too friendly and professional. I even asked that lady after she sanitised us if she's not gonna show us the table she's like I'm still looking for a table. Then my response was how about you let us know instead of keeping queit coz we won't know. She just left us there to go look for a table. Next thing she waved at us like we are some kids. We stood there at the door waiting to be called properly and the other waiter came to tell us that the lady is calling us. Fine we went there and sat for almost 10 minutes with no one to attend to us. After waiting there came a waitress by the name of Lorraine. Very unprofessional lady if you ask me. We made 2 orders but we were given one. Thinking maybe they will bring our platter after we ate the burgers kanti noo. After eating our burgers we waited for the next platter for full 30 minutes until I went to the cashiers to ask what's happening since we waited for too long. We had to initiate the order again after 30 minutes of waiting after finishing our burgers. She's like I never heard you when you ordered the first time.. Mind you when she brought the order she started with the drinks and bring food after a while. That's madness I mean what should we do with the drinks in the mean time when you guys are taking your time at the kitchen. Mxm you ruined my birthday njhe. Your service sucks. She never even bothered to check on us. Her focus was on other tables as if we were not important. I will never set my food again there. Your staff Is very...

Google said the place closes at 5p.m on a Sunday. We got there at about 14:20 and we were welcomed. The food arrived and soon as we started eating the waiter tells us that they are closing at 15:00 but we can still sit and enjoy our meal as they won't chase out.

15:00 comes and the shop is buzzing. Customers are still coming in to purchase... mostly buying take aways. We continue to sit being mindful to not be causing unnecessary inconveniences to the staff. The whole time customers are coming in making purchases. At about 15:10 One member of staff comes over to our table and asks if no one told us they close at 15:00. Before we could even answer she's already pouring our drinks in take away containers in a clear act to start moving out. We were NOT the only customers still sitting and on top of that more customers were still buying takeaways so the kitchen wasn't even closed yet.

I am still appalled by what that woman who wasn't even our server, didn't even greet and just started handling our food. Our waiter was also not happy when we explained what had happened and it certainly left a sour experience for us because had they told us, we would have left. Apparently that's why they only told us after the food left so that we don't take the business elsewhere.

We were visiting the province for the weekend and enjoying a peaceful Sunday afternoon.

Extreme pathetic service. I got seated and wsited for a while until i asked the waiter to assist and just when I was giving him my food order, he started screaming across talking to another client, so loud in my ear. He totally ignored that he was servicing me, he didn'teven excuse himself. He took a while with the conversation across. He then turned to me, I immediately told him he was being rude. In saying this to him, he gave me a rudeness facisl expression and immediately asked Filicia to take my order and he stormed away. Bear in mind Filicia was busy with her table taking order. I waited for her but she swiftly attended to me. She took my order and I requested for the manager to report the incident. No 1 came. She returned after a while to check if manager came and I told her not as yet. So many people were complaining while others falling asleep on the tables. I don't know why they don't deliver drinks while waiting for food to keep client busy. After a long time of waiting for manager and food, I decided to go to a place were they respect and value client. Yes, it was rush period but it can be handled better and...
