I used the loo and from the toilets was making my way towards counter to place order. As soon as i stepped off the concrete floor onto the parquet my feet shot out from beneath me and I landed flat on the floor. Staff just looked at me. I called and told them the floor was full of oil. Battled to even get back up. I was so shaken and both knees painful. I pointed out the oily floor and they just looked at me like I was crazy. When i got to the car my son was upset and went back into the store to insist on speaking to manager. She just said what must she say? All she can say is sorry. I said yes but the oil on the wooden floor is dangerous! She said well they were cleaning the floor. But they were not until I fell and pointed out the problem. The guy actually did not believe me at first. But now the floor was being washed with soapy water. They only did this after me insisting it was oily. I am still quite shaken and upset and especially at the way it was handled. I did not order anyting and just wanted to get out there. Seems that Loraine (said she was the manager) did not know how to handle an emergency. Most disappointing. I was wearing good takkies with rubber soles that gripped the concrete floor and event the parquet floor, but lost all control in the oily floor. What if someone else was really badly injured?

At first I was very impressed with the Nando's app. It was my first time using it. My ordering experience was very decent online. I was instructed to collect at 19:25. I arrived at 19:25 excited to get in and out and eat my dinner. This was absolutely not the case. There was only one cashier and no one operating the express line for online collection. I waited in a long line behind walk in customers so I could pay and receive my meal. Once I had eventually paid I turned to the collection counter. My 4 hot pots were already there waiting to be packed. I then proceeded to wait, and wait and wait. Eventually the cashier (who's was doubling as the packer) started packing my order. She took two of the hot pots to the back where I then saw her change the labels. I received my order at 19:50. Upon arriving home I see that two of the hot pots, the ones she changed labels on, were in fact the wrong flavour. I ordered mozam paprika and got tangy tomato. Read moreI love Nandos but was put off big time this week with my pickeled red onion and Avo wrap, bit into it and it nearly chirped at me it was so raw and slimy and tomatoes were weeks old it was off and bitter I was so nauseous afterwards. Power outage in our area so I drove to this branch where power was on. The branch manager had me in stiches, I have never heard of such a funny apology ever , offering a free wrap as long as I dont come in the next two days because their generator is not reliable and they scared they have power outage so then surely they would close the branch if that happens or use gas stoves and still make sure ur chickens are cooked undercooked chicken no excuse for drive through. Dont make your customer feel they are an inconvenience if they decide to come yesterday or today to get Nandos food. Raw chicken when ur power on is unacceptable and if your generator packs up make a plan or close the doors till your problems are fixed dont make your problems our problem.
