Worst service ever.
Wanted to treat my parents with a nice Wimpy breakfast.
Arrived at Wimpy Princess Crossing at 11am on the 5th of June. Waited to be assisted at the door and after no assistance I walked in and then only someone advised that they will be with me and my family soon.
Ordered 2 Hot Choc's , a tea and mega coffee. The tea was cold and so where the other drinks as we were able to drink it quickly compared to all the other Wimpy drinks we had at other restaurants.
11:30 came and still no food... At about 11:45 I requested to speak to a manager and the lady said there is no manager and she will assist me. Advised her that we're still waiting for our food and she said she'll look into it.
11:50 the food arrived, the burgers was cold, the eggs was still called and barely cooked. The bacon was charcoal dirty from the greasy oven.
Asked the waiter for the bill and a to go bag for our food, where she said she'll quickly get me a new warm burger. Waited for about an hour to get my original order, how is it possible that now all of a sudden will I be able to receive a proper wimpy burger.
Not to mention the other table that received their food before us but sat after us.
This is by far the worst service I have ever received and will never support this Wimpy ever again.
I would rate Wimpy Princess Crossing minus stars if it were possible....

Read moreToday we tried order burgers for the kids, a lemonade and coffee with flavoured syrup, with extra chips. Want to guess which of the 4 orders were available? If you guessed chips, you're right. Wondering how on earth we can't order burgers at a burger place? So do we. I get that flavoured coffee syrups sometimes go out of stock and gets ordered rarely enough to not be a priority. But burger patties on a weekend!? The kids (3yo) should simply order (and pay!!) for an adult size burger, or have a sandwich, because that's sll they have available. Manager on duty couldn't care less, refused to offer discount for the kids' food and said they have chicken mayo. No burgers for the kids though, at a burger place.
Also holes in the safety netting of the higher levels of the playgym, and a dodgy smell - I don't think the junglegym ever gets cleaned. We left. No use being able to have only chips and black coffee for lunch. Doubt we'll be back.
2023: Food was cold, service usually slow, kids area is not safe to travel between tables and play area. During loadshedding we ordered ahead, came there and got refused both food and a refund....
Read moreFor some time I've been coming to Wimpy, on the 21st of January i walked in with only Wimpy staff, everyone was friendly but as i made my way to my seat there was staff on their phones playing music and lying down on the seats where we as customers should sit, i was very upset about even if you aren't that busy you still have a company name to uphold.
Yesterday it was 10 times worse, a Friend and I went to Wimpy for Coffee and at 17:15 Pm they started playing music and we had no problem with it, But it got so loud in there that we could barely hear one another, we asked them to just turn it down a bit as its too loud and the staff ignored us...closer to closing time it was unbearable making us pack up and leave!
