In my recent interactions with him, I have been met with nothing but rudeness and disrespect. First waiter took us the table took our drink order, 5 min later another waiter came wanting to take our food order but still no drink served, he sorted that out quickly was actually a really good waiter to us... Food came the chips is totally discusting u will find better chips ant the fish chips stires in town... Saucy fish bites of children was so chewy looked and tasred feeling like elastic bands, finding calamari in between, garlic bread in sauce more worse had an off taste like the garlic sauce is not fresh at all, manager came out asking what was so bad about garlic bread - still busy explaining to him he turned and walked away.... Before we ordered a seabream platter what a disater the seabream was off and smelling even the waiter smelled it u could smell it when the plate arrived and still the manager wants to tell us it smell normal to him he finds nothing wrong... Very dissapointed in how bad the food quality and managent became there, we used to eat there once a week and order take aways during the week... but after our last 3 visits ocean basket will never see our family again so dissapointed really very sad... not a recomending restuarant from my side anymore... Read moreI recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Ocean Basket in Rustenburg and I must say, it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. If I could rate it zero stars, I would. The manager of this particular branch was incredibly rude and unfriendly. He seemed to have no interest in providing good customer service and instead, spent most of his time ignoring customers and talking to himself. It was truly shameful to witness. What was even more concerning was that he seemed more worried about the radio playing in the background than the satisfaction of his customers. It was clear that he had no regard for the importance of good customer service. My friends and I had to resort to clapping and shouting just to get someone's attention for service. And even then, it took a long time for anyone to come and assist us. The manager didn't bother to check on our table or ask if everything was okay. It was as if we were invisible to him. It's truly disappointing to see such a lack of care and professionalism in a restaurant that prides itself on providing quality seafood.
