How bad can it get. Capetonians visited Spur as German tourist was told to experience a Spur. What an experience, untrained waitress, a ‘manager’ with a missing tooth is extremely apologetic but half the time he spend at the entrance and not engage with patrons. Food arrived quality was fine but the waitress ser the table with a missing placemat, after the food arrived cutlery was missing, tried to get some attention and eventually walked to the ‘manager’. At last we had cutlery and halfway through the meal the hand wipes arrived. After complaining the waitress was floating around the table. Spur you don’t need a restaurant with untrained staff - this is your customers first experience entering...
Read moreI was very disappointed by the food we received after more than an hour's wait. The onion rings, and the chips had an old burnt oil taste. The manager apologized and took it away. His excuse was that they've been using it too long. No refund or discount for the food they took away. When I said that I didn't want to penalize the poor waitress who did her best due to bad food, he just laughed and told me he'll tell management not to give the chefs a bonus. The male toilets were also disgusting with urine all over the floor around the urinals. I wouldn't suggest going to this Spur. It was the worst Spur experience I've ever had, and I've had a few. Spur is definitely not what they used to be....

There were no bigger children in the play area, therefore our small kids actually enjoyed playing there. Thank you for a...
