While on a trip up the mountain, we stopped by for lunch. The place was quite busy with all the visitors and tourists at the place. We found a table and sat down after placing the order and paying for it. The food arrived and it was good. The views are breathtaking from the cafe and there is indoor and outdoor seating available. Beautiful place to just sit and take it all in!!

By far, the worst experience on Table Mountain, no, in all of Cape Town. It’s like a badly organised school cafeteria, but with worse food — a menu from the dark ages without a single vegetarian option. If there is one thing you take from this review, don’t order coffee, it’s not coffee. #Priceless

It's been a while since I've gone up Table Mountain and having been since 2013, I was looking forward to going up and especially enjoying sundowners at sunset. Firstly the Mountain was breathtaking as always, unfortunately the same cannot and wil not be said about Restarting 67. First and foremost, it's an absolute tourist trap, but a really bad one at that. It is the worst representation of South African (Cape Town) tourism I've ever experienced. Except for being expensive, I can buy a whole pizza for the price of a singular slice on the Mountain. The food is just really substandard. If you ever experienced Shoprite's food counter, you will understand. That said, I think Shoprite might be a few steps up.

Then not to rub insult into injury, your coffee is great and cheap. But why do you use Illy, an imported brand? Why is a local Natural Wonder of the World, a South African (Cape Town), tourist attraction serving imported coffee? Why not support local such as Blacksmith? Truth? Or any of those thousands of local coffee suppliers?

Further to that, please stop serving my food on canteen trays. What is the deal with that? The hygiene, cleanliness and atmosphere is so bad, I cant even reference back to Macdonald's and the idea of using trays coming from them as that would just be a slap in their face.

I honestly try and always write a constructive review, but you guys are really just so bad. No man. Do better. It's after all the jewel in Cape Town's crown.

And P.s. please check your music. Last time I was there, someone had house lounge playing. Wasn't really...

Food is alright and the views are great but man, for some godforsaken reasons they have such a complicated reason for how ordering the food works and how you receive the food. Why on earth do I have to place the order, then pay at the counter and then get a buzzer thing to wait for the food to come? Why can’t I just get the food on the spot for something quick like a slice of pizza or a pie? It’s so annoying to have to sit and wait for something that should be quick, I understand if it’s for a meal or something but if you want to grab something quick and be on your way then it’s just frustrating. Honestly that and the price of the food ruins the experience for me. And on that note, the pricing is just atrocious for the quality of food you get. It is unfathomable to me why the food should be this expensive when it is mediocre quality and quantity comparative to the price. I might understand that it’s for tourism (even then it should not be this expensive) but if that’s the case, give SA residents a discount. Absolutely ridiculous and this restaurant never fails to disappoint me in an otherwise beautiful place. Just avoid this place and go outside and enjoy the...

Bagel pastrami a overcooked. Extremely tough and difficult to chew. Couldn't even swallow it. So my pre teen had to spit it out In my loaded fries, i had about 20 fries,a lot of cheese and sauce. Pieces of pastrami was overcooked and tough. Can't believe that there were no chicken kiddies combos, no burger or nuggets, only the hotdog option. Had to order my little one plain chips and even that want cooked properly. Place feels like a money making scam just to attract people, who have to pay 3 or 4 digit bills for a hand full of food. The waitrons didn't even have the decency to ask us if they could place tables next to our tables to accommodate a Hindu family. They just did what they wanted. Extremely rude and not worth it. There is a lot of harassment and bullying going on behind the counter, especially at the pizza station. Rather save your money by packing a picnic basket and you'll be...
