Would recommended trying this place if you’ve craving for good bingsu in Busan. 😋
✨Our Order for 2 Pax: • 1 milk-flavored shaved ice - KRW 14,000 • 1 black sesame dango (4 mochi balls with black sesame powder on the outside) - KRW 2,200 • 1 matcha dango (4 mochi balls with matcha cream on top) - KRW 2,200
✨Total Spent: KRW 18,400 (RM60.89)
✨Verdict: Milk Bingsu - One of the best bingsu we’ve ever had. The shaved ice just melts in your mouth instantly & the milk tasted very nice - was fresh & high quality.
Dango - Wouldn’t recommend the dangos as they’re actually of Japanese-origin so why eat that in Korea 😂 some of the mochi was a little hard too + wasn’t much taste on the inside. Felt this was meh.
✨Location: • It’s about a half hour bus ride from Busan Station; it’s located in quite a small neighbourhood/alleyway area. There wasn’t many people in sight on a Wednesday evening (~9pm) but still felt safe. • If you don’t understand Korean, might be hard to find this place. See my photo for how the shop looks like.
✨Others: • We arrived on a Wednesday night 8:40pm, there was a waiting list (just 1 table before us) and they had an iPad by the counter to put your phone number. We couldn’t input our Malaysian number so they gave us a sticky pad to write our IG handle instead. We waited right outside the shop on a bench & they gave us a table when we enquired how much longer we had to wait. We ordered, and our dessert was served at 9:07pm. • On the menu, it said 1 person had to order 1 drink each (if we translated it correctly), but the waitress told us we didn’t need to do that after we asked. So just remember to check with...
Read moreThis cafe was unexpectedly busy even on a weekday. You need to put yourself on a waiting list, and ideally browse around the area because there’s not enough space to wait there. Also be prepared to store your shoes in baggies because they have a traditional style building where you sit on floor cushions. In terms of taste, they’re on the milder side - not so mild that it doesn’t even taste like matcha. You definitely taste the matcha but it’s still sweet (like everything is in Korea 😂) Honestly we loved the mochi it came with, so if I ever came back I would try the dango set 🍡🍡 (Note: there’s no English in their menus so if you don’t know Korean make sure you figure out what you want...
Read moreMilk bingsu was fluffy and soft like cotton. Toppings were provided along with the bingsu (injeolmi, choclate ice cream mochi and red bean paste). Went for the fruit bingsus but was told it was seasonal and no longer available. Seating was on the floor (cushions provided) and you have to keep your shoes in...
