When we went, all their items besides chicken soup were unavailable even though it was prime dinner time. However, we didn't mind since there's so many food stands and restaurants around the area and we had planned on getting more food after.

They have quick and attentive service and store lady is super nice. The owner can speak some mandarin. We got a wild Ginseng Chicken Soup to share and it was solid! The soup was very rich and had an authentic taste. Chicken itself had a lot of flavor. I recommend dipping the chicken with a dab of their salt to go with the soup to create a great balance in flavor or putting some kimchi into the soup! The tofu bean curd as part of their banchan here was also particularly good and can also go well with the chicken.

Highly recommend if craving ginseng chicken...

I planned to have seafood in Busan. However, summer deterred me from fulfilling my wish. So I headed for a always good (even in summer) hot pot of Samgyetang. Yes, it is a more Seoul thing (it is in the name of the restaurant.) Nevertheless, language was not a problem. Staff was very cordial (many old and nice ladies.) My order included a chicken with abalones, with all the spices and medicinal stuff inside. This pot came with a small bottle of soju (rice wine). Also many plates with a wide variety of pickles were filled as they were consumed (as it is customary in Korea). In all, it is a no brainer: if you cannot decide what to have for dinner, try the traditional stuff, even if you...

As close time in Google map is 9.30 The restaurant actually closed at 9. And my orders are 1 samgyetang and 1 roast chicken which should give me and my husband some time to finish them. (I’m in the restaurant on 8.11) When it at 8.40 the restaurant owner start to sigh too many times. So I opened my wallet to count my cash to consider how will I paid. The owner brings the receipt to my face and said sorry? He seems really rush. So if you don’t want to open till 9. Please change closing time. He shouldn’t do bad...

Came here to soothe my tummy. Been down the weather - day 3.. Must order one each. Food is tasty even tho it's a bit bland for me but it was great! Hot Ginseng soup is a must when you come to Korea. Owner can't speak much english but he understood what I want and he even showed us how to eat the chicken. Chicken is so tender! Missed the Samyetang.. Price: 2 pax/ can't exactly rembr how much
