Asian Family Restaurant Dongmoon — Restaurant in Chuncheon-si

Food : I give 1star.. Well, all the food almost tasteless.. Imagine drinking water, but have slightly flavour, almost all food I taste are exactly like that.. They just put slight salt, or a little bit spicy or whatever they put.. You barely taste the flavour..

I eat karaage (fries chicken), but the flavour kinda feel like disappointed.. I thought my food are the only one, so I taste my family jajangmyeon, also the same, only taste a little bit flavour.. Then I taste jjampong, also the same.. Almost tasteless, kinda waste because they put a big octopus in the jjampong but almost no flavour.. I also tried crab fries rice, also taste the same.. Not sure if I got unlucky that day.. MAYBE their real chef on vacation and other non professional staff that cook that day, but very disappointed.. I saw many other table also no finishing the food.. But what we can do, this place is the only place in NAMI Island that sell halal food, we got no others choice..

Service : I not sure about service because basically, all things that happened in this restaurant are self-service.. Order at counter, wait for order, after an hours waiting, pick the order ourselves, after done eating, throw the waste and put the plate at counter.. So, no service at all, they just take order and cook for us, that's all.. Some customer are not cleaning the table and left the plate on the table, so the next customer who want to sit there are the one cleaning the table and take care the plate..

Disappointed experience. I came all the way to Nami Island just to try this halal place, but when I arrived (well before the stated closing time!), the door was closed. I knocked and even called — no response. I could see a staff member inside on their phone, but they ignored everything. If you're going to close early or not serve customers, please update your hours or at least acknowledge people at the door. Not cool, especially for travelers who come from far.

Its was still open hours when I came. Why let people believe you’re open when you won’t even answer the door? For Muslim travelers like me, halal options are limited — this was supposed to be a highlight. Instead, it left me upset, hungry, and honestly feeling unwelcome....

Despite the food being ok ( not so tasty but it’s ok ) , the overall experience was ruined by the unfriendly attitude of the staff.

From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome. The staff behind the counter barely acknowledged my presence, and seemed irritated when I asked questions about the menu and want us to order faster and go sit right away!!

That time no customer so why need to be rude and rushing?

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience here. While the food was good, the unfriendly counter staff made the overall experience unpleasant.
