Today, Nami Island was wrapped in a curtain of heavy rain so I stumbled upon a charming café that turned out to be the highlight of my day.

I ordered a cup of coffee and decided to try something I’d never seen before which is pine nut ice cream. It was a special flavor offered by the café and I was instantly intrigued. The taste was unique with bits of pine nuts mixed inside.

What made the experience even better was the staff. The staff had a warm smile which made the whole visit feel even more special. Sometimes, it’s the little gestures that leave the biggest impression.

Nami Island was an amazing visit, everyone looked so connected! I did not know they were a micronation called Naminara Island. Learnt a little bit of geographic whilst visiting this place.
