High quality coffee in a comfortable, low-lit, kind of homey or retro setting. I have talked to (one of) the owner and they are extremely serious about coffee, have studied and been to some of the source countries even...they roast and possibly even import some of their beans.
It isn't a 5 star, because the prices are too high and also the service could be a better I think. I have been there about 7 or 8 times and it always seemed like there was some minor problem..typical Korean scene, Koreans just do not understand customer service. If you want to have maybe the most expensive cafe in the whole city, you had better treat your customers with utmost respect and serve them properly. They don't do that. I don't care how good the beans are, at those prices you are paying for a lot more than beans.
Still, solid 4 stars and definitely a good choice of cafes if you want to relax and taste some very good coffee drinks. Forget the desserts...
ย ย ย Read moreThe coffee was amazing and the desserts were HUGE (see pics). It was all super delicious, but do watch out if you have a walnut allergy. Probably better to check for nuts when you order, because there were walnuts in the choco chip cookie (which we did not expect).
I was, fortunately, the lucky one without allergies who could then eat both desserts ๐ฌ would totally recommend the banana bread. Out of all the banana bread I've ever had, this one wins best consistency and flavor!
