원조초당순두부 — Restaurant in Gangneung-si

This is one of the most famous places for sundubu in this area. It has been open for decades and they do simple but absolutely delicious tofu dishes. 1인당 13,000원짜리 두부전골 시켰는데, 아무리 두부집이라지만 밑반찬이 허술해도 너무 허술함. 다 싸구려 반찬들. 무슨 구내식당에서 먹는 느낌. 두부 리필이라고는 하지만 한 사람이 두부 얼마나 먹겠나. 우리는 둘이서 1인당 한 모 정도나 먹었을까 싶은데, 생협에서 국산무농약콩 1모에 1900원 받는다. (심지어 맛있다)20년 전에 여기 왔을 때는 고추장아찌도 된장박이로 진짜 집에서 만든 맛이었다. 그땐 감동스런 집이었는데 그 사이에 값은 올리고 음식은 질이 낮아짐. 게다가 12개월 이상 5000원 내고 백반시키는데... 공기밥에 도시락김 하나 딸려나온다. 부페를 가도 24개월 이상부터 받는데... ㅎㅎ 본 음식이 싼 곳이라면 이해하겠다. 근처에 다른 인기식당 가려다가(솔직히 다른 식당들이랑 비교해보면 한숨 나오는 수준) 하나는 휴일이고 하나는 대기 많아서 그나마 이름 아는 곳이라...
