It has all the features you expect of aquariums but it also educates about local birds. There are some otters and a penguin exhibit at the end. It was informative. There's a small garden out the back that leads to the Arte Museum. There are no toilets inside the exhibit so you have to go beforehand. The aquarium store was fine but there wasn't particularly anything that was only for gyeongpo aquarium. Just local gangneung snacks, and generic fish and wildlife toys.
