We tried the makgeoli ice cream which was well, very strong in terms of the taste. But if you're looking for something unique then it fits the bill. Interior is really nice and minimalistic. Service was not friendly but it seems to be the theme.
I really wanted to leave a review for the House of Choi gift shop next door but they don't seem to have a google location. Anyway its all under the same Choi clan so here it is - we were intrigued with the products and actually made a trip back to see the shop the next day because it was closed the day before but we went in and they had 3 people there and none of them tried to engage with us or help us understand what they were selling. We even felt perhaps not welcome because one of the guys was in a full suit and just staring at us. Perhaps it is only geared towards Koreans who may know more about it but it's kind of a wasted opportunity to share the unique products that are locally made and would be of interest to travellers...

We bought peach makgeolli and americano, with wafer ice cream. We love the fragrance of the ice cream exterior and the salty -sweet vanilla ice cream in this hot water!

We visited there for a short time with my family. I felt stong symbolism representing the fowardness harmoniously combined with its respect for the past in their furniture, floor plan, choice of colors, served menus, and landscping.
