This is literally a museum and small theme park disguised as a bakery and cafe. I would recommend every single person to go here when they are visiting Gangwondo.
The whole theme of the "cafe" is post-Japanese occupation Korea. Some of the things are worth looking at, but I think these things appeal to (older) Koreans more than foreigners. I would say the most interesting thing in this "cafe" is the factory itself, with a "hallway" in the middle.
The best part of this bakery are the salt breads. There is a very, VERY good reason why they limit their sales to 10 pcs per person. They are literally the best salt breads I've ever tasted so far and I don't think anything will top this anytime soon. Other breads are quite good too so don't...
Read morewent there via tour packaging. i didn't realise that it used to be a textile place, and they took over and changed into a coffee place. the items there are very historic. the female toilet is the highlight as there is air con and all well decorated. i do find it so weird trying to wee in a room full of items. there is an area where they feed the birds with rice. so you get to see little birds hanging around. in the cafe, there is a rule that each one has to buy an item. saw the poster. but i dont think they check. it was so so busy that it was so hard to find seating. also, their seating are very unique. great for photos. the pastry queue is different from the drink queue. so you have to queue separately for drink and...

The main building is a beautiful sort of chaos and has tasty cafe treats. The bathrooms are the craziest part though. The main women's bathroom outside confused everyone because there were 3 stalls. One down a lovely old-timey hallway, another inside what I think is a furnace chimney, and the last I didn't even notice was there until I saw it from the outside. There is so much seating here. It doesn't matter how big your party is, there IS a table big enough for you all...
