강남진해장 — Restaurant in Seoul

It was very very authentic Korean intestine soup place. I loved it!!

Normally people come here after their first round of drinking and to continue their second round. Haha However I came here only for food which was 곱창전골 Medium size. It was not cheap (Roughly $60) for two people. The portion of Medium size hotpot was good for 2-3 people if they only come here for food. If people drink along with this hotpot, i guess 3-4 people would still enjoy.

I loved the taste of the soup, quality of the intestine, veges… food was great. It was very crowded and noisy. Typical Korean drinking place i’d say.

You have to clime up to the backstreet of Gangnam district. Other than climbing, everything was as I expected. I ordered Naejangtang and really loved broth and ingredients. Broth gave me a feel of Hironori Japanese ramen in my hometown, Irvine. CA. Make your own sauce based on their recommendation and try it. Food was perfectly prepared and served fast. Good place but severely understaffed, we visited in a late afternoon (3pm) for lunch and there wasn’t a lot of people in the restaurant. However, if was difficult to add any other orders afterwards, tried to order rice twice and it didn’t come.
