I visited Bacha Coffee, located just across from the Galleria Department Store in Apgujeong.
The first floor is a retail shop where they sell coffee, chocolates, coffee cups, spoons, and various other elegant items.
The second floor is a cafรฉ offering coffee, brunch, and desserts in a very luxurious atmosphere. The service is excellent, and you really feel like youโre being treated with care.
There are so many types of coffee on the menu that it was hard to choose! They also offer light brunch options, ice cream, sorbets, churros, and more. I ordered the churros โ they were made fresh to order, so it took a little time, but they were warm, crispy, and absolutely delicious.
The store closes at 8 PM, and I arrived around 7 PM, so it was quite peaceful with very few customers. Since it was late in the day, I didnโt want to drink too much coffee.
A cup of coffee costs 16,000 KRW (around $12 USD), which is pricey but instead of just one cup, they serve it in a beautiful pot filled with several servings.
If youโre looking for a luxurious experience or want to feel like royalty for a moment, I highly recommend visiting. It truly feels like stepping into a palace like being a noble in a...
ย ย ย Read moreWorst service I have ever experienced. Would give negative 5 stars if possible. Visited in the morning to avoid crowds. Staff are not busy but are very unfriendly and unhelpful.
Two examples of how bad this place is:- No parking available and was told quite rudely not to park in front of the store. I parked for 4 minutes with hazard lights on. I bought 5 boxes of overpriced coffee, Asked for 1 large paper bag & 5 small bags (1 bag for each box). Was informed that I could only get 5 bags total as I ONLY purchased 5 boxes. Priced at about USD30 per box, I think they can afford to give out an extra paper bag.
I am in the service industry and I would FIRE all current staff.
I have visited many other Bacha stores in Asia and this store ranks dead last in service & convenience but is the most expensive one! FYI about 30 percent cheaper elsewhere.

ย ย ย Read moreWhilst being dragged along K Pop Road in Seoul by my beloved wife I was was lucky to spot the Bacha Store. I had last visited a similar store in Singapore and was, thus, overjoyed to know that I would, very shortly, find ideal peace and respite from the ravages of tourism. We visited the store and were not the slightest bit disappointed. A dazzling selection of coffee and delicious cake fortified me to go on to join my wife in more homage to 'Gangnam Style' for the rest of the morning. Thankyou Bacha, the visit...
