This department store truly stands out for offering some of the best services compared to others.
First, their valet service sets the tone. Unlike many places where you need to be a VIP customer to enjoy that convenience, here it’s available to everyone. It makes the whole experience of visiting the store feel effortless from the very start.
Second, the food court is on another level. Instead of the usual chains or generic options, the restaurants are often popular, trendy spots that, in their original locations, are known for long wait times. Dining here gives you the same experience without the hassle of waiting in line. I also appreciate their system: you order, place your pager on the table, and the staff deliver the food directly to you. When you’re finished, they clear everything away. One of the biggest reasons I disliked eating at department stores before was the contradiction of paying high prices only to serve myself and return the tray—like at a fast-food place. Thankfully, Galleria does things differently, making the whole experience feel worthy of the price.
Third, the staff expertise is remarkable. They actually know what they’re selling. I once had a frustrating experience at another department store where a staff member recommended what I thought was French cheese, but it turned out to be butter. She didn’t understand the product herself, and worse, recommended something completely wrong. That kind of mistake would never happen here—the staff at Galleria are knowledgeable and professional, and it makes a big difference in the shopping experience.
Lastly, their grocery section feels curated rather than overwhelming. Instead of a massive selection, the products are carefully edited, almost as if they only stock what they consider the best produce, fruits, and specialty goods. The downside is that the prices are steep—sometimes even ridiculously so. But still, there are a few items I can only find here, which keeps me coming back despite...

There is parking facility, restaurants, children’s lounge and baby stroller rentals available. Customers can get a 20-30% discount during the sale period. There is a food court that features many great Korean stores such as Baemidang (milk ice cream with more than 100 years of history) and Ho Won Dang (the best rice cake in Korea) while having international shops such as The Cheesecake Factory. I recommend to try the squid rice and pizzas if you are there. Excellent standard of food and worth coming if you are...
