청담동에 지어진 국내 헤르조그 드 뫼롱의 첫 작품

주위에 다른 구조물들과 차별화로 건물 상층 부분이

직각 삼각형 구조물 전면에 최소의 채광을 고려한 세로로 긴 두개의 창만을 남긴 벽과

수많은 거푸집을 이용한 각기 다른 문양의 노송무늬의 외벽

실내에 들어서면 노즐 콘크리트의 곡선 계단과 측면의 전면 통창으로

콘크리트, 유리등 하드한 재료를 이용했지만 부드러운 곡선 표현으로 무겁지 않은

콘크리트로 닫힌 벽면과 통창으로 열린 대비의 조화로 발상의 전환..

기존에 건축들이 표현하는 공간과 구조, 재료와는 조금 다른 느낌이라 신선했고...
