This building can be recognized at distance by its presence and unique architectural design. The triangle block doesnt have many windows but host some of the most ingenious exhibits from Korean artists. 승은아트스페이스 개관전 건축가들의 전시장이라 할 수 있는

청담동에 지어진 국내 헤르조그 드 뫼롱의 첫 작품

주위에 다른 구조물들과 차별화로 건물 상층 부분이

직각 삼각형 구조물 전면에 최소의 채광을 고려한 세로로 긴 두개의 창만을 남긴 벽과

수많은 거푸집을 이용한 각기 다른 문양의 노송무늬의 외벽

실내에 들어서면 노즐 콘크리트의 곡선 계단과 측면의 전면 통창으로

콘크리트, 유리등 하드한 재료를 이용했지만 부드러운 곡선 표현으로 무겁지 않은

콘크리트로 닫힌 벽면과 통창으로 열린 대비의 조화로 발상의 전환..

기존에 건축들이 표현하는 공간과 구조, 재료와는 조금 다른 느낌이라 신선했고...

I had the chance to view the Panorama exhibit and was pleased by the ideas of artistic energy of the exhibitor. 문체부 산하 재단으로 등록되어있는 송은문화재단의 복합문화공간입니다. 스위스 바젤에 본사를 둔 헤르조그 & 드 뫼롱이 건축하였으며 청담동의 새로운 랜드마크가 된 아름다운 건축물입니다. 2,3층 및 지하2층에 전시 공간이 있고, 현재는 스웨덴 작가인 듀오 아티스트 나탈리 뒤버그(Nathalie Djurberg)와 한스 버그(Hans Berg)의 개인전이 열리고 있습니다. 애니메이션 영상 및 조각, 설치작업 등이 다양한 공간에 배치되어 있고 특히 지상에서부터 지하2층까지 연결되어 있는 작품은 이곳이 아니면 보기 힘든 대단한 작품이었습니다. 7월13일까지 예정되어 있으니 꼭 보시기 추천드립니다.
