Vault Steakhouse — Restaurant in Seoul

Way overpriced, very strict corkage rules (max 2 bottles, for which they charge 50k Won each and it can't be a wine they sell); overpriced wines and limited selection; among the worst side dishes I've had in any steakhouse (mac&cheese, creamed spinach and fries were especially bad); bread was dry and convenience store quality; totally forgot to add butter to the steak resulting in a very dry, tough and undercooked steak that was shockingly bad; hurried service without a hint of friendliness; 100k Won cancellation fee; old interior with no character. Maybe the worst dining experience of my life. I have been to quite a few steakhouses in NYC and Seoul but Vault is indeed the worst so far. Our party arrived at 1:50pm for a 2pm réservation and they made us wait outside on the stairs freezing. The place is an office space renovated into a restaurant with a low low ceiling. The medium porterhouse was served warm not hot and we had to ask to the waiter to make it hot but nothing had changed when he brought it back....the cake was very hard and the coffee burned. We ordered a medium well steak but a very bloody one was served. I don't understand that a Michelin recommended restaurant doesn't know how to differentiate the doneness stages properly. I cannot say either the service was good. The waiter didn't ask any questions about the dish when we asked to cook the steak more. The kitchen staffs were chatting with each other loudly.
