Operated by one of the STARS that appeared in Netflix’s Culinary Wars… This is fine-dining at its best - western style fine cuisine/course dining uniquely fused with Korean style dishes and ingredients. You will walk out having tasted flavors and notes never before experienced. They start you off with a welcoming drink in a separate space made from traditional Korean ingredients. At the time we made the reservation, they offered a choice of 2 courses…duck or pork main course. Pork was around KRW170,000 per person, but we chose the duck course. EVERY course was memorable, with a unique, never-tasted-before flavors, involving ingredients that we never had before, yet utilizing familiar uniquely Korean ingredients. The service was IMPECCABLE! The icing on the cake? You can ask to take a photo with the STAR chef. A GEM!

To draw a comparison, dining at Bonyeon is like discovering Bitcoin in 2017—an undervalued gem poised for greatness. For context, the price of Bitcoin in 2017 ranged from around $1,000 to $20,000. As of 2024, Bitcoin's value has soared to approximately $70,000. Similarly, Bonyeon is a phenomenal restaurant with only upwards potential. Highly recommended for those looking to experience the future of Korean fine dining

We had the greatest time at Bornyon to celebrate my parents’ 30th wedding anniversary. The staff was very welcoming, attentive and cheerful; the service was impeccable. I have a severe peanut allergy and they made sure I wasn’t allergic to different types of nuts prior to our arrival. Each dish had a unique taste. Everything was sublime. We especially liked the scallop and the reimagined bibimbap with mushroom. The anniversary cake, a chocolate mousse, was exquisite. It was truly a great experience and one of the main highlights during our trip in Seoul. We will cherish forever our moment here at Bornyon. Thank you chef Bae Kyung Jun and the whole staff for this memorable day! Greetings from Montreal, Canada!
