Brooklyn Burger Joint Dongbu Ichon — Restaurant in Seoul

Interior has hints of an old US American railroad car dinner.

I ordered a Burgherita burger (sun dry tomato, Mozzarella, grilled Parmesan Cheese, Basil) and Chili cheese fries along with a Pale ale. Burger cooked to perfection. Tomatoes had a touch of basil flavor which was excellent. The Mozzarella overpowered the Parmesan so it was a great burger but the Parmesan wasn’t needed. The chili fries reminded me of my youth sitting in college town dinners, the cheese was similar to US classic Velveeta and the chili has a slight spicy profile. The Pale ale was Sierra Nevada a famous southern US beer company. It went well with the meal. Despite living in Korea for a decade, this was my first visit to a Brooklyn Burger Joint. I’ve always heard good things and now I regret leaving it so long. Not only was the meal a home run, but the service was perhaps some of the best I have received in Seoul. Our server was so polite and genuinely sweet. Takes about ten minutes for the food to come out, but it’s all freshly made. So nice to have piping hot cheese fries as opposed to the lukewarm cheese sludge I so often get. My dining partner enjoyed his C.R.E.A.M burger so much he said he would eat it all again for dinner. This location is small but the interior is cosy, feels like a real American diner. 10/10 experience, looking forward to visiting again soon and trying some more items...

An American burger franchise located at Ichon, Seoul. It is using a building in an apartment complex. The interior is very American, and the foods are all American. Which means if you're not used to it, it's too salty to eat. Well, they got better since they first opened in Korea back in the 2015, but it's still too much for Koreans. The burgers are usually over 7,000 won. Which is equivalent price to a combo menu of McDonald's. If you get a combo, it will cost like an Italian restaurant.
