Bun Ch Ra Boom — Restaurant in Seoul

This expansion of the Itaewon restaurant into Yeouido is very welcome as there are limited options for Vietnamese in this area. I believe this place is considerably better than the Korean/Vietnamese chains (pho bay, pho mein, etc.) but probably not at the top of the list (Ahn, Pho for You, etc.) Atmosphere is pretty good, they redid the place nicely; it was pleasantly populated and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We had the Bun cha and the Spicy pho (can't remember what it was called). Bun Cha was ok, rice noodle was a bit soggy/lumpy the way it was served. All of the add-ons and greens were fresh and tasty. Pho was tasty but the spice was a bit overpowering; the regular pho might be a bit better. Bit skimpy on the meat in the pho in my opinion. 6명이서 2인세트,3인세트,쉬림프헤드프라이 시켰어요. 현재 공심채는 재료수급이 어려워 소고기시금치볶음이 대체되어서 나왔습니다. 전체적으로 베트남식당처럼 만드려고 인테리어를 한것 같은데 그냥 조명이 조금 많이 노란것같아요.. 맥주나 다른 고량주 같은것도 동남아에서 먹는 것도 준비되어있는 것도 큰 강점인것 같아요. 메뉴는 한번에 나오지않고 만든 즉시 하나씩 나와요. 여기 최고의 강점은 쌀국수가 정말 맛있습니다. 사골국같이 엄청 깊은 맛이라 해장으로 저격이에요. 저번에는 국물로 더 리필을 해주시더라구요. 볶음밥은 저번에 그냥 볶음밥이었던것 같은데 소고기볶음밥으로 나왔어요 개인적으로 동남아식 밥을 즐기진않아 밥알이 동남아처럼 날리는게 아니라 전 더 맛있더라구요. 여의도 직장인분들 오셔서 따로따로 시키시던데 전 여러명이서 세트 드시는 것 추천드려요....
