I'm always on the hunt for a bowl of ramen and me and the wife found this place across the road from Pie Hole and made the visit.

We were lucky enough that there was an English menu that gave us instructions on how to order and what we were ordering.

I opted for the Toko Tonkotsu which is a pork broth with a deep soy based flavour. I then choose the Dragon ramen which I always enjoy as the noodles have a scaly texture which I think is good as the broth sticks to the noodles and makes each bite very flavourful.

Finally we get to choose how much base sauce, bean sprouts, garlic and green onion so I got the most of everything. I got the ramen as part of a set and you can choose dumpling, karaagee chicken, rice and donburi. I decided on the karaagee chicken as part of my combo and as always I asked for an extra order of chashu.

The first thing I noticed when the bowl of ramen came out was how big the bowl was and the amount of ingredients that come with it. First test is always to give the broth a try which I found to be nice and thick with some chunks of pork meat but lacking some seasoning as it could have done with some salt or soy to add that saltiness.

There was plenty of chashu which was nice and meaty with a good amount of fat making it nice and tender. The noodles did exactly what I liked and coated itself with broth and with the addition of extra garlic and onion it added nice flavour to the dish. One thing I would do next time is add less bean sprouts.

The karaagee chicken was nice and tender but there wasn't much flavour in the batter but still a good side to go with...

It's literally the best ramen I ever ate! You can customise your ramen as you desire and chose the quantity of each ingredient. The broth is magic, and the few slices of pork are caramelised by torch, incredible... Even the fried rice has a great flavor ! ❤️ And since I came back to Paris, I tried some ramen but I'm always disappointed... I wish I could come back just for a bowl. 😭 The only thing that might bother new customers is the strong smell of the pork, but tbh you'll completely forget that once you get your bowl ! Hope to see you again...

Three noodle options. The dragon noodle seems interesting but when ordered you don't actually see that texture well...which was disappointing. The dragon noodle was not especially unique...just very filling. The ramen was good ....and actually recommend the not spicy vegetable broth instead of the pork one. The pork was good but it seemed the vegetable one actually was more tasty by the end of the meal. Getting the set with the ramen is a ton of food. You get so...
