Cafe Kiiro — Restaurant in Seoul

Interior and atmosphere is like little Kyoto, Japan. Wooden chairs and tables feel so friendly. They make seasonal desserts. Price is a bit high and additional 500krw for t/o. Staffs are kind.

Montblanc: the wafer at the bottom tastes like dalgona. It’s crispy but immediately melts away in the mouth. Cream is not overly sweet or rich, soft and having a little bit of chestnut flavor. Inside is a whole chestnut, which was soft and also not overly sweet, and… weirdly it was a bit salty. Tasty, but overall, chestnut flavor was too weak and fresh cream...

One of my favorite cafes. The interior and the concept is like a Japanese cafe with drip coffee a simple small quiet ambiance and delicious desserts that rotate in regards of the seasonal fruit or the menus the owner wants. I have tried some seasonal items and some permanent ones. I recommend this one to quietly sit on your own, read, or come for the seasonal desserts. Many people come and there's oftentimes...

방문할 때마다 모두 품절이거나, 짧은 영업시간으로 발길을 돌리다 애만 태우다가 이렇게 정말 정말 기대만 쌓이던 곳이었는데 드디어 방문했다. 다만 기대가 컸던 탓인지, 상당히 아쉬움이 많았다. 정말 한적한 일본 소도시 교외 지역의 작은 카페 분위기를 연상시켰지만, 오히려 서울 한복판에 위치한 키이로를 찾은 손님으로서는 다소 불편했다. 정말 좁고 적은 좌석과 고요하다 못해 적막함을 유지해야 하는 분위기, 그리고 항상 인스타그램으로 홍보되는 시그니처 메뉴들의 빠른 품절까지. 구움과자를 포함한 디저트류가 상당히 이미 소진되었을 경우에는 대기자 명단을 적을 때부터, 적어도 전화로 다시 순서가 임박했음을 알릴 때 같이 알려주셔야 한다고 생각한다. 커피 맛이 좋아서...
