Hyehwa Dodam — Restaurant in Seoul

I really loved this restaurant for 2 reasons!

#1 delicious, quick food and service #2 their waiting system

The braised kimchi was really delicious and tasted like a home cooked meal like I would get from my mother in law. The pajeon was also so crispy and delicious (it takes a lot longer to be served than the kimchi).

You can also help yourself to some sides like rice (밥) and regular kimchi. There was a self bar, so it made things a little chaotic at times.

But the best part was the waiting system. If you are not in front of the restaurant waiting, you get skipped. We had a 40 minute wait time turn into a 5-10 minute because people weren’t ready...

The best place in Korea. I loved everything from the service to the drinks they serve. The food was AMAZING. THE PRICE WAS VERY DECENT. WE PAID 69000 won for 3 adults and 3 kids and still had some food left. We asked for leftovers box which was only few pieces of meat and staff added extra stew for us without us asking. We came to this restaurant through a food tour. Our tour guide said he would always come here throughout his days in University and I can see why.
