Chakraa Authentic Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Seoul

I visited Chakra Restaurant on 22.06.2024 after saw the ad in social media. I ordered masala dosa. The things that I want to mention here: the service is extremely poor. We have to kept telling waiter all the time please fill the glass with water. Eventually, we have to deal with waiter to turn on the AC as well as there were few insects and mosquitoes roaming around. The calling bell at each of the table is of absolute no use as nobody cares about it too. Usually waiting time is so so long. We got dosa after 35~40 minutes after a long wait even when there were not enough guests (kept telling waiter when would the dosa be served in between). After serving dosa, waiter don't even bother to give spoon and fork and not even tissues. So, I really got annoyed and asked the waiter do I need to keep telling him each and everytime to give us ? Seems the waiter who served us dishes doesn't know about the basic hospitality as if the service is that poor it will affect on the overall rating no matters how good the quality of food is. The food served here is among the finest I have experienced in Seoul. The impeccable service and unwavering attitude of Mr. Jacob, coupled with the excellent smile from Mr. Mani made their service exceptional. We had a set menu for the group, but some guests wished to order food not included within that menu. Despite this, all I had to do was inquire if they could accommodate an additional item requested by one of my guests, and Mr. Jacob merely responded with a pleasant smile and served us as requested.

I have yet to encounter anyone so accommodating, and he never tried to hurry us out after our meal had been consumed. They remained seated for another 15 minutes, relaxed, and they appreciated the food, their service, and the ambience so much that they refused to eat elsewhere and returned two nights in a row.

Please don't get fooled by these exaggerated reviews. They does not deserve this much of positive reviews. Me and my friends travelled for one hour just to feel the South Indian style of food and service on 3rd April 2021. Only to find out we came to a wrong restaurant to look for such things. These people just spoil the South Indian Name. Please see my review.

Service - pathetic, worst I have seen so far(0). Cleanliness - horrible, you can feel the floor is sticky(0). Quality - They don't even know the meaning of it(1). Taste - They tried to bring-in some (2) Pricing - 3 times higher, for the service and quality they offer. Still my friends are discussing what is wrong with them..? why was it that much bad.?
