Five Guys Gangnam — Restaurant in Seoul

Absolutely terrible service. Even though there was no line to order food, the cashier spoke so fast and pressured us so much that half the time we couldn't understand her. We had to make her repeat herself, which only took more time and stressed us out more. Then we got our coke and looked for regular straws but they only had thick ones for milkshakes. We ended up asking the staff, who curtly answered they didn't have it, as if they were offended we even asked. The area where we pick up orders is a war zone. The staff is constantly shouting numbers and orders over loud music. When you go upstairs, there is no seat available past 11:30am. You have to stand in a long line that goes the whole length of the room, hoping that people finish their meal fast. If you ever get so to sit, enioy your cold, dried out fries! With such terrible service and environment, as well as overpriced burgers, i see no reason...

The system makes zero sense. I waited in line and before I can enter I had to enter a phone number to make a reservation. The restaurant was not full and the reservation seems like just a tracker to get you seated at a table. But since I did not have a Korean number they said I cannot make a reservation and therefore cannot enter. The manager told me the same thing. I even asked them if I can use their phone number but they denied. All I wanted to go to the counter, pay for my food and sit down like any other Five Guys branch. The branch was not busy at all and had empty tables. People were walking in right behind me as I was being held up by employees. Five Guys management please get a hold of this since this is seriously flawed.

First time eating at Five Guys. Came here while waiting to get into Tims. Wait was about 30 minutes so I just went to the Line store next door to keep warm.

I just wanted large fries but the cashier said I needed to order a burger as well if I’d like to dine in so I ended up ordering the veggie burger option and changing to small fries. Meanwhile, 2 of my friends were able to order only fries at a different cashier. The fries were great and plenty, but I wasn’t really a fan of the burger. No patty, just sautéed vegetables. The burger buns were pretty good though. Overall, not bad, but wouldn’t go out of my way to go eat...
