I’ve been a regular at their other branch for quite some time, but this was my first visit to this location. The vibe here feels like a playful fusion—part tent bar with casual tables, part lounge with hip background music, and part wine bar with its dimly lit, relaxed atmosphere. It was also my first time having pork BBQ paired with wine instead of the usual soju or beer, and to my surprise, the combination worked beautifully. The house wine pours are generous, making it feel even more indulgent.
The side dishes deserve a special mention, especially the fresh vegetable platter, which is a must-order. I also asked for cilantro (고수) to mix with their onion seasoning—it added a refreshing twist that balanced the richness of the pork.
In truth, this place hardly needs my review, as it’s already well-known and frequented by celebrities. But what struck me most wasn’t just the food or atmosphere—it was the sense of ease the place creates. As I sat waiting for my pork to cook, I couldn’t help but overhear snippets of conversation: three men discussing their health, a couple venting about work. I didn’t mean to eavesdrop, but that’s the charm here—the atmosphere makes people open up, unwind, and simply let things go.
I usually wrap up the meal with 된장찌개, but today I decided to try the ramen for a change. Still, if you ask me, 된장찌개 is the one...
Read moreA rare find! Highly recommended! The main crowds are the locals which can testify the “gem” of this place; not forgetting the countless “endorsement” from multiple local celebrities!
Due to the overwhelming return customers, the owner had to extend their business to another store next door! So now you can either have a “modern” feel or the “nostalgic” feel during dinning depending on where you are allocated 😅
Tried almost everything on the menu and I must say that for once I don’t know how to review as ALL of them are awesome beyond description! The staff are friendly and even “teach”/guide us through the recommended way to eat the cooked BBQ meat! [ps: they have English menu and staff who are able to speak...
Read moreOne of the best pork bbq places in Seoul. I just chose this place as there were not many restaurants nearby, but I could figure it is a popular one from the entrance. Even though we arrived around 18:00, there were people waiting to enter.
We had pork bbq and the meat was very fresh and juicy. The temperature of the center of the pan was very high that you need to be careful not to overcook the meat, but it was definitely high quality fresh pork. Service was great and the employees were very skilled at cooking as well. They will cook for you at your table.
Even dwenjang ramyeon I ordered was super delicious. Great food, great service, and great...
