잘 먹었습니다 (jal meogeotseumnida), meaning "I ate well". And not only once but twice...their service is friendly and welcoming, and most importantly the food was really delicious. I had both beef and pork, with a stew on the side in the evening and the steamed egg for lunch (heavenly).
Both Dinner and Lunch were served with an array of sides and spices, as is usual with Korean BBQ, but they truly added to the flavours. The Kimchi was spicy without trying to blow one's head off and the other vegetables were fresh and zingy too.
I've been to Seoul a dozen plus times, all for work and usually chase down venues serving chicken wings and cold beer...so glad I expanded my horizons on this trip.
Fully recommend their Pork Belly and Black Pepper Chuck flap.
The Beef Brisket Soy Bean Stew was superb but probably the hottest in terms of temperature...let it cool a bit!!
And the Steamed Egg....have been cheeky enough to ask for the recipe...it is one of the best things I've tasted in a long time.
So yes, 5 stars every day...evenings are busy so don't dilly...

I recently visited Gyeongseong Palilsam in Sinsa, and I was blown away by the flavors and authenticity. This spot is clearly a local favorite, and after trying their dishes, I can see why!
We had the kimchi jjigae and cheese fried rice, both of which were exceptional. The kimchi jjigae was packed with deep, savory flavors and had just the right amount of spice. The cheese fried rice was a standout too—creamy, comforting, and the perfect complement to the jjigae. Together, they made for a truly satisfying meal.
The atmosphere at Gyeongseong Palilsam is warm and inviting, with a genuine local vibe. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. It’s a great spot for anyone wanting to experience authentic Korean cuisine like the locals do.
If you’re in Gangnam and looking for a memorable meal, Gyeongseong Palilsam is a must-visit. Highly...
