Growing up on the East Coast, you get spoiled by choice, right then, though, let’s be honest, most of it is a sea of pretty forgettable slices. So you’d think I’d be the last person to grab pizza in Korea, of all places, while waiting for my childhood buddy to pick me up through the usual Seoul traffic jams.
But curiosity (and hunger) won out, and wow…I was wrong in the best possible way. The crust was crisp yet tender, the sauce balanced, and the toppings came together like they’d been rehearsing for a symphony.
Honestly, it left me wondering why half the “authentic” Italian spots back in States can’t get it this right.
The funniest part? My Korean buddy—born and raised in the States—had no idea this place even existed. Typical U.S.-grown Korean: knows where to find Shake Shack, but misses the hidden gems right under his nose.

I ordered the 4-cheese pizza, and the amount of cheese was perfect, unlike other spots that aren’t as generous. I wish they’d serve chilli oil instead of corn syrup but that’s a personal preference.
