Seoul Ludens — Restaurant in Seoul

The worst experience I’ve ever had in any restaurant. Forced to wait in their narrow aisle while 2/3 of the seats were empty. When we argued, they were like oh you have to order 2 main and 3 sides to be seated in for 3 ppl, but obviously other ppl only ordered 1 drink. Then they said we must order at counter first before we sit down. When we sit down, we asked if we can change one of the chair cuz it was too hot comfortable. The staff was like no you can’t move it, cuz we have rules! And that was their answer to every normal request we had. We then asked the ladies sit next to us if we could change the chair with their extra one and they were totally fine with it so we did it ourselves. And the staff saw it and again tried to stop us. We did not spend money to get tortured here. Turned out there were other bad reviews on Google for years. Don’t understand how come this stupid place is still open after all these years. Even the cha chann teng in HK has 10x better service. If you want to spend money and still get harsh and impolite treatment, here...

(2019.07.19) The store policy has changed. From now on, you need to order at least one beverage per person, and a dish for one table. If you aren't ordering a dish, you have to order two beverages per person.

A rooftop Cafe located on the top of Gyungridan-gil. You can see the entire Namsan and the N-Seoul Tower from this place. I think it's a great place to take photo. An Americano is 7000won. Very cheap considering other rooftop cafes usually costs at least 10,000won. Since, from the enterance of the Gyungridan-gil to this place is quite steep, I recommend to ride the bus 용산03(Yongsan03). First of all the view is amazing, however this is the only positive thing about this place. If you like to be treated like a 2nd class citizen then this is the place for you. Walked in, firstly was asked to read the rules, like a young school child. Recommendation to the owner, if you don’t like people just put a kiosk there it would be a lot kinder and create a better environment for everyone. For any tourist visiting this place, beware the service is terrible and extremely mean.
