La Cucina — Restaurant in Seoul

Horrible customer service. When I first came in he told me to seat at one of the tables because the other tables were “reserved “ mind you they were about to close. Then he came back and he looked irritated or mad at us cause we sat at the wrong table and told us to move to another table in a very demanding rude tone . We was just confused on like why this man was talking to us like that so we just let it slide and sat in the other table. Also, He was rushing me the whole time while I was trying to choose what I wanted to eat mind you this was my first time at this place which made it difficult cause his dumb menu had no type of pictures or anything. The food was excellent--the meat cooked to perfection; the pasta one of the best in Korea; the seafood fresh and thoughtfully matched with other ingredients; and all veggies uniformly prepared. My only DISAPPOINTMENT was with the onion soup. It was watered down and bland, which I guess had to be that way because the Koreans are overly conscious about their sodium intake these days. Also one of the staff let out a big cough without covering her mouth while walking past our table--not something you expect to see in a restaurant of this caliber. Lastly, I want to write something about the store manager. I guess restaurant managers aren't often mentioned in reviews, but the manager of this establishment deserves three stars from Michelin. I had high hopes for this restaurant, really, consider it has 4.4 over Hyatt which has own fantastic restaurants. Unfortunately not only my pasta drowned with half bottle of olive oil but prior to that they said last order is 720 pm. Then I realised because I am the only customer table in the entire restaurant.
